The front setup on my car is way off from the norm but works well for my driving style. I recently went to 1/10 king pins versus 1/12 to try and stop the traction roll issues with this car. Instead of traction rolling the car is lifting the inside tire on tight turns. I can stop it from happening but have to take the corner a little slower which has obvious outcomes.

Zero caster blocks
1 shim fwd, 2 back
red springs on 1/10 king pin
in-line axles
1.25 deg camber
Frnt, middle wheel base and track width

I recently rebuilt the car with a new chassis so i changed things up a bit. I'll probably migrate back to my old setup as i keep practicing. I think the first thing i'll try is 5 and 10 deg caster blocks.

If I can get a business trip planned around I'll be there. You going to Vegas?
Suggestions for a smooth carpet track with reasonable traction...

- Zero caster blocks (to 10 degree blocks)
- 1 shim fwd, 2 back (No change)
- red springs on 1/10 king pin back to 1/12 king pins with 50/55 springs
- in-line axles (to trailing which goes well with the long wheelbase setting below)
- 1.25 deg camber (to reduce camber to the point that traction rolling is not an issue. Probably closer to 0.50 deg on medium traction to 1.0 on high traction carpet - MOST IMPORTANT
Can further reduce camber change by replacing standard tops arms with long top arms.)
- Frnt, middle wheel base and track width (to long wheelbase and wide track)
- Just a thin bead of CA on the sidewalls. Spread it thin with an Xacto knife.

And then attend the IIC to meet up with Team CRC and possibly attend Dumper's Speed Shop.
