Can't say for all 3, I'm not 100% sure. You will have to experiment with a lighter spring and see if your problem goes away.

Were you running composite shoes before? That black on your aluminum shoes might be the residual from the old shoes that got caked up on the cb.Like I said before, the dust is normal but if your blowing through aluminum shoes, you will have to trouble shoot it.
