I use orion rechargeable aa (all i could afford after £340 for transmitter)
work very well but i must admitt the above is the way to go imo.

Aaron 125 do you use expo for throttle??
I'm trying to find away to tame the throttle on my f1 without losing
the response time.(same probs as we were discussing before with steering)
Any ideas?
