Hey Gary how was touring car for you this weekend?
I did alright. I qualified 6th for the B, they had down to a D main. I think the winners of the A did 21, I winded up with 20, so I was a lap off the winners pace. I went down two teeth on pinion for the main, which winded up being a bad thing because my car's motor lacked punch to begin with. It slowed me down too much and with a couple recks it placed me for a bad finish.
Like Jon said, this was my first outdoor touring race, only my third touring race total. The cars handle so well and are so fast, I love the feel of driving them. I wish we had a touring car track up where I live!
