The 3mm shaft is not even available to the public yet. None of the RC8.2 parts are available yet. So, I will make a further assumption that the chassis: Team Associated RC8B +3mm Chassis (Black) [ASC89476] is different than the chassis that will come with the new RC8.2 kit. Or something is different to make the 3mm shaft work. More $$$ for somebody...
