However in general you do get what you pay for. In many cases we get more than what we really have use for. Kinda like going to Costco to save on toilet paper and coming out at the register with $300 receipt.

In the case of competition speed controls many of them offer more features than can be used in "blinky" class. So why can't I just buy a speed control that has just what I need and not any more? Which is just what I want to pay for.
