Yes I get it as I have looked extensively into this issue with rear toe. Have not found any longer "hard shims" but have found the plain 3mm stainless steel washers work well stacked to your desired thickness. They are very close to 1/2mm each, allow a bit of flex to toe angle stacked, will not budge once locked, and can be found at the local hardware store.
