Those are no boost ports, they are only used to splash some cold fuel against the piston to cool down the hottest side of it.
About the reliabillity I can not tell.
oww ok great, so i'm correct in assuming the 353 .12C tuned has the holes under the ex port whilst the flash .123T doesn't. I was also told via PM that the flash .123T has slightly better torque and more run time than the 353
