Yes its really speaker wire from walmart but before you guys buy it and re-wire your speedos there some things to know...It is 14 gauge and used to alter the power of brushless/lipo-you will need to drop 1-2 winds from the motor to get a similar feel that your use to. I have it in my 2wd and dropped to a 7.5 from and 8.5 but what I got was the speed of a 7.5 but with a much smoother power delivery. Its a very useful tuning option and definately looks way cool but for most situations standard wire is the way to go. Also running that wire comes with increased amount of heat to the speedo so thats something to think about as well. Usually when BK runs it you see it accompanied with a speedo with a fan.
