(1) Parts support at your LHS....HPI (if you are in USA) can be find almost every where....so does AE, and they are cheap...and R40, no different.
(2) R40 is no RS4, it is as good as the Mugen or Serpent, you can say their plastic are not as strong as they look compare to Mugen or Serpent, but their price are almost 50% less, you have to understand why HPI parts are cheaper.....
(3) All RC car are fragile, if you clip the board 3 or 4 times in 1 lap...no car will survive..........R40 has their pros and cons, so does MTX3 and S710.
(4) Most important, car can hanclle good by using stock setup, and newbie can build it without problem.........
