Thanks guys. I've heard of The Dude's stuff, but it's good to know that I can get a Losi part much cheaper. I'm much more of a function over fashion kind of RC'er..

Anyway, I'll look into the Losi part. I just really hope I don't lose too much down low or up top. I've never seen a vid of a single-speed LST that looked to me like it was geared right. Normally they look like they are missing a lot up top. I.e. revving high but not really getting anywhere down the straight..

So the one-speed conversion is just a clutch bell?
