I have a few questions.
#1, From what I have read, the sensor must be placed pointing upwards, but in order to get better signal you guys recomend pointing the transponder thru a clear (unpainted) lexan part of the body, well the windshields are not painted so if we were to install the transponders on the inside of the windshield, which would point the sensors forward at an angle, will the sensors on the bridge pick up the signal??
ALso, how far apart does the transponders and sensors need to be, or better said what is the minimum distance allowed between transponders and sensor?
1/5 scale cars are about 10" tall.
thanks
No worries on the car size... as long as you have a spot open in the RX and a clear portion of the vehicle to shoot through thats all that really matters...

The bridge can be upwards of 24" from the ground which is what I was told to do by Craig at ILap for 1/10 scale offroad trucks. Any lower and the bridge sensors will not pick up the full 14.5" of width. I personally would not mount directly to the underside of the windshield as a crash will certainly harm the transponder... but any flat area under it where you can put some velcro will work perfectly...
