Good stuff here for some budget minded brushless set ups. I am not new to the hobby but am new to brushless after getting out of nitro. Would the same set up you posted work well in an older JRx2? What about a B4.1 FT or SC10FT? That ESC is cheap enoughI could see getting two and two motors for a Clodbuster...would that work?
Sorry for the thread hijack but I have a bunch of projects and looking for some cheap electronics to get going. Already have 3 of the gen ace 5000MAH batteries you posted and a LiPo charger so I just need some ESC and motor ideas for cheap. I was looking at hobbywing combos but these are cheaper yet...
One thing I question is the ESC says rated for 2S 4.2V but 2S are 7.4V. I don't understand how they are compatible?
