I think the Snake Eyes is aimed at tracks where Losi drivers would use the Stud or T-Bone. I believe the purpose was to make a truck tire that worked like the Bow-Tie but would last 45 minutes.
yblegal - Peaking at 6 amps makes a HUGE difference in power, but keeping things at 4 amps will be easier on your batteries.
For those of you out there with the budget, you should REALLY look into buying the Novak Smart Tray battery conditioning system. It's the most dialed product EVER released as far as battery care. I used one for the first time this weekend and I must say, the results are IMMEDIATELY noticeable.
