I just picked mine up a few weeks ago, it's been amazing! I also own a bce chassis losi carbon and Ti everything, the losi is very good but where I run I'm faster with the stock sc104x with less motor and smaller batteries. No special mods are required IMO except the tires that work best at your track. I just did my basic setup on it, mostly to the book and it's rediculous out there! Nothing has broke yet and I've put it to the test!
You should drive the Losi and then decide.
Since I got the sc10 I havnt felt like driving the losi. Lol! Before that I loved the losi, I put over $400 in mods on it, spared no expense.
Everyone is different but I can tell you all the SC truck have their issues when put to the test.
People keep having belt getting pinched between the front pulley problems, then you roll the truck backwards to un bind it. Happen to me twice in 15 batteries after lawn darting into the face of a quad over shooting a triple. I'm running both 19t belt pulleys so my belt is looser I think.
Hope this helps.
