I am willing to guess no. The reason is that the NiMh cells are rounded at the ends which is what the car was built around. Thats what causes most of the fit issues with this chassis. But there is only one true way to find out and that is to buy one and see. I wish i could help further but i am limited to what i can do. You may want to look at the 3300 packs and see what there dimensions are and compare them to this pack. If they are the same then the same mods i did for mine will work for this pack. Really for the length of the race i truly didn't need anything over 3000 mAh. Brushless motors are so efficient that they don't typically need the high mAh (at least for VTA) Buggies and Truggies are a dif story.
I would try it myself but I no longer have this car. It was VERY successful at the track and i got an offer I could not refuse. Hope this may help.
