is everyone running 2wd on outdoor dirt tracks? My 7 yr old son will be driving, is 4wd better for him to start with? 4wd is a lot more expensive and it looks like RTR isn't an option if we go that route.

I'd say it depends on your local track. My track has a 14 and under class where you can run anything you want. From there you have 2wd Stock, 2wd Open, and 4wd Open. To me, I'm used to 4wd from running pan cars so it made the most sense for me and I feel they are pretty easy to drive. From what I've read on here, if you can drive a 2wd truck the move to 4wd is pretty easy but going the other way around is a bit harder.
