I just performed my first diff maintenance of the year and also replaced a bent dog bone. All in all it went ok... But I will share this: there has been a lot of talk in this thread about a leaky center diff and we should use mugen gaskets with sanding the diff cups. While I agree with sanding the diff cups, I'm not so sure about the mugen gaskets.
Below i have 3 shots.. One is the front diff, one is the rear, and of course the center. They are all shots I took before cleaning them up. Can you guess which one is the center diff? (hint ... It's the one in the best shape)
Stock everything fella's..... Just sanded the diff cups. Be weary of what you read on here... Tons of bench racers
. Oh... And I put the yamabond on..... Figured I'd give it a try. Seems to make sense.
