Nope...you're not alone . I too have not had any issues with mine. Ran ~10 packs through it and checked everything. No slipper issue, no leaky diffs (OK, well maybe a TINY bit of seepage), no anything! Thats with the Castle 4-pole (1410?) motor on a moderate traction 1/8th scale track.

It took me a while to get it to handle the way I wanted it (probably not 100% there yet either) but with the front swaybar and running different tires front and rear it's really starting to come around!

I'm sure now that I've said that everything will go to he!! on me but so far it's surpassed my expectations for durability.
