This has been done to the Kyosho 4wd. They had pictures showing it done. On the rear I dont think it would cause aproblem with the cva binding. I mean take out the cva from the out drive. There seems to be more than enough deviation from straight to accomidate shaving the arm 1/4 inch or so. seems like an easier way to lengthen the car with arms than cutting a chassis.
