Default F1 class

I understand from talking to Drew that he will initially focus mainly on two classes.

17.5 rubber tire sedan
1/12 scale

I plan on just running my F1 for the fun factor in between sedan charges. However I do believe it would make a great affordable 2nd class. There seems to be a resent surge in F1 interest as of lately and the guys on the west coast have it right.

Check out there site http://uf1series.com/

I think with a simple pan style F1 running the stock motor (silver can Mabuchi brushed motor) we could have a super affordable, fun, fair, easy to drive class that would make for some good racing.

Rules would be simple...
Tamiya F1 (any version)
rubber or foam tires (foams will obviously work the best and be the most affordable)
Mabuchi silver can motor
7.4v lipo (we could even have a spec pack (save $$) to keep the cost even lower)

If anyone is interested in this class drop me a PM or post here if you have any questions.
