Well thanks to Mike Smith at Modeltech ( UK corally impoter ) for doing the finishing touches the gear diff install on my car is finished.
Used:
Spec-r Tamiya TA05 gear diff 37t
Tamiya one way pulley 37t
Corally 510mm front belt
Corally 186mm rear belt
std 21t layshaft pulleys
Corally alloy rear diff bearing holders
You need to shave some material off the bearing holders and the high spots on the gear diff case, dont over do it i.e. little at a time and recheck fit. Front one way pulley needs center hole making slightly bigger and drilling new screw mounting holes.
Video is first test run with gear diff after not driving the car for the last five weeks so a little rusty. I run 17.5 non boosted at my local club.
