Thanks for the quick response, I used the diff that came with the M05 Pro kit (ball diff i think) but did not use any loctite - ill check that.

Update - Pulled the motor out and when i first installed the pinion gear i hadnt used the 'pinion stopper', used it moved pinion gear further out and car is happy again.

What diff did you fit? If you have fitted a ball diff and did not put loctite on the screw, then it may have loosened off. If it is a MO5 ball diff, you can access the screw by removing the bottom hinge pin and tightening. If it is a TAO3 then it is a pull apart job

I would also check the pinion has not moved on the motor shaft.
