I'm going to chime in here because, up until last night, I kinda felt the same about my SC10 4x4. I was having the same kinds of problems...twitchy, tail-happy handling both on entry and exit...feeling like I needed to tip-toe around every corner. I had been running M4 Calibers all around (and not getting nearly enough traction with them!) when another racer at our track suggested I try running the kit tires up front. I didn't have them with me but I did have some M3 Snipers which I threw on the back and lo-and-behold the truck came to life! I could now throw the truck hard into corners and accelerate out of corners with authority and it even jumped more efficiently with the better rear traction. I literally picked up an extra lap on a large 1/8th scale sized track with the tire change alone

!
It may fall into the category of a setup "band-aid" but I really think this truck works better with a less grippy tire up front (or conversely, a grippier tire out back

). For the record, here is my setup:
Front:
30wt Losi oil/stock springs/kit shock positions
20,000wt diff
2.0mm swaybar
Kit camber link positions/3mm under inner ballstud
29mm ride height
M4 Calibers
Rear:
25wt Losi oil/stock springs/kit shock positions
7,000wt diff
no swaybar (don't have mine yet

)
Kit camber link positions/2mm under inner ballstud
29mm ride height
M3 Snipers
I would respectfully suggest to folks who are struggling with this truck to throw the kit tires up front to see what it does...it's easy and quick to do and based on my experience it might help!
Cheers,
Mike
