That image certainly shows that pole a to a is almost twice as long as pole C to pole C.... it might seem trivial, but it WILL affect the performance of the motor.... extra heat, less punch, not as smooth....

technically speaking your probably right, but i doubt ill even notice the .000000456 ohms of resistance i lost if the pros are doing it, then i think it will be good enough for me
