I would like to see your setup and which fixes you made to keep your NTC3 running as well as you say. Wondering if the cost of getting the shock towers and reinforced diffs etc is comparable to a newer kit.

In a moment of full disclosure, I ran something similar: both of Ofna's shaft driven cars. With standard metal diffs and centax (on the CD3 anyway), they were decent cars, but still had a few problems with some of the newer engines. I was constantly tweaking diffs and such with my .12 Ninja. I had read as many setups for the car as possible and maintained a good maintenance schedule as well. After 3 years I switched to a MTX4R. After one day I was a lap and a half faster with the same engine.

Let me repeat:
A LAP AND A HALF faster

Well Said. I ran an NTC3 5 years ago then switched to the MTX3 as my next and I got the same result!
