If you run an esc that has current limiting, you can increase your traction and drivability that way. Some Expo will help. A lighter touch on the trigger will help. Proper tires for the track will help. Working on your set up will help.
Lots of laps of test and tune will help the most. It'll tell which of the things above in combination will give you your best results. IT's a steep,but fun learning curve.
I wouldn't, however, try loosening the slipper. At the stock setting (3.5mm of thread showing), you'll glaze your pads in a raceday.
