Hi all,

I have a D8 hara, but this is more of a general question. I have a futaba 614FF and have about half of the coax cable in the box.

My question is how much of the cable should I have exposed out of the box? Right now my atennna is flush with the top of the head. Should I make it higher? Does exposed cable affect range?
