I'm trying to figure out what sets of Tamiya tires might work best on a parking lot asphalt surface. So far on my M-03 I like Type-A fronts with S-Grip rears. I have a friend running an M-06 and the Kit fronts were wearing quickly and didn't offer enough steering with S-Grip rears.

Has anyone else noticed that the 60D M-Grip tires seem to have a softer side wall compare to the S-Grip?
You pretty much have them in the right order. Except the type A is hard to rate since there were a number of variations. Being a relative newcomer to racing Minis, 8-10 years, compared to some I race with, I may not know of all the variants. From personal experience the new A has less grip than the B and frankly lost grip quickly. The old A was better. From some of the veteran Mini guys there were some old, old A types that were better than the old. Sounds silly I know, but that's what they are called around here.
