I couldn't agree more. IMO.. I think it's a part of the hobby that is the most fascinating and enjoyable aspects is to tune...Set-ups are no different then shoe sizes. I will never have the ability to be at the pro level, but I can certainly hold my own at the track.
Every time I try a "pro" set-up the thing feels broke to me...
So after 20 years doing this, I have learned what does what in set-up...but more importantly what "I" look for in balance ...
