. How do you route your battery wires so that they don't push out the body? I have the Gens Ace 4000 lipo's and the wires come out of the end. I had to cut the stock battery holder to make them fit in.
Space the battery holder out 5-6 mm on the side opposite to the motor and use a long machine screw to attach. This will make the end of the battery on the motor side flush with the battery mount. Use the battery holder on the motor side that's held in by a clip. This will offset the battery to help balance out the motor and get rid of the battery wires bulging out the body. This works on both the 03 and 05. Been doing this for quite awhile now and never had a problem.
Another solution is to just offset the battery and tape it in.

Another thing this mod does is that it makes the motor easier to remove and replace cause the battery holder does not get in the way.
