From the track ower:
Quick tease for all of you... Track is 80% complete
Drivers stand to be done and will be located at the centre of the front straight ... it will be set back 1.5 feet from the edge of the track.
DONT FORGET THE TENT COVERS THE ENTIRE TRACK AND THE DRIVERS STAND ... WITH ROOM TO SPARE!!!
The track is 9 inches of 70% Blue Clay and 30% Silt.
The track was packed with a 36 inch twin diesel vibrating roller and diesel powered tamper plates where the roller couldn't go.
All lanes are 10 feet wide with only two small portions of the track did it need to be reduced to 8.5 feet in width.
The front straight away measures out at 100' with the entrance swept from the side straight to allow for 170' of power on Straight away.
The rest of the track is extremely technical with an amazing flow ... very unique track design. This lay out features a little bit of everything.
Good Luck and we will see you at the end of July!!!! Can't wait
