There ya go, put the 20t front pulley back on. Mine danced on clay as you describe, until I returned to the standard front pulley!
My theory: On hard surfaces, when your front is overdriven, the rear is fighting the front for control. So it starts skipping on the higher bite surface (I've shredded tires at Mike's before), fighting for control.
Look for balance. I see you've started to lower your roll center, try to keep it even on both ends. I'm now running 4mm on both ends and will go a bit higher once I reconfigure my swaybars.
Also, try flattening out your ride height, I"ve found contentment at 25mm front and rear.
I"m getting real close on mine and I have gotten comments that it's making me look like a better driver than I actually am. Certainly, I"m not saying "I should have bought the Losi" quite so often.
