there were other guys who were geared higher... around 5.6. it does kill the brushes tho. ill try to find a picture of the track we ran on. it was very fast (lots of long straightaways) and only one spot where we had to let off to about half way on the throttle.

Track layout also determines the gearing/FDR as well. This is all new to me 'coz it's actually my 1st time to run a 19T motor. I'v been running stock ever since I started racing, but nowadays the guys @ my LHS have upgraded to the 19T class. Nobody (the last time I raced) was running stock anymore & I had to race that day w/ a 19T on my TRF414M SSG w/c I got the gearing info from the 414M thread. Did pretty good for my 1st outing w/ a 19T motor.....3rd place - B main.
