I usually run Red springs, with either Reedy 767's, Trinity 4499, or Putnam greens. I have yet to try hurricane gold though. I heard they were pretty good. I am gearing at about 8.3 Final drive ratio with rubbers on a tight carpet track. It's just a nice balanced setup that I've never had any problems with power.
