Im guessing Id need a BEC if I wanted to use a castle mamba max pro with these castle powered servos...Pity castle cant fix this problem with their esc
actually on the MMP's you can bump up the voltage to 7.4v-8.4v(like unregulated lipo) on the esc so that it provides 7.4-8.4 to your HV servo and receiver(assuming your RX and servo can take the lipo voltage). That way when you use your high-draw, high voltage servo and motor together the BEC voltage wont drop below the fail-safe or rx cutoff voltage (the many issues people are having with MMP/rx cut-outs).
