C is not amps. Amp discharge capability based on the c rating=the amp hour capacity x the C rating. So what they are claiming on the 6500 pack is it will release up to 6.5x150=975amps. Which is completely ridiculous.

This ridiculous claim has been scoffed at and questioned by anyone that knows anything about batteries since they were released and maxamps has yet to show a single shred of proof that they can actually discharge at that insane rate even for a millisecond.

150 amps is probably realistic discharge capability but again... not what they are claiming.

I own one of the 150C 6500mah packs in 2s for a 4x4 short course truck and it is no better than a 40c pack I have from thunder power. Actually, the thunder power pack seems to keep its punch longer into the run than the 150c maxamps pack.
