Well, if you have time, and know lots of digital circutry, this guy did a design for a peak charger in about an hour, you can build one for about $500, $300 if you have some sheet metal and toobing sitting around. for the 300, you get a kit with 3 stepper motors, the stuff to make a stepper bored, the rails, bearings, a bit. For the cutter, you jsut modify a dremel with better bearing to make it more stable. And you jsut trhough a pentium 1 computer together with autocad
