Yep I have to say the Argus is one of the fastest engine out right now. Even on the dyno it pulled some crazy numbers
On the track I have yet to see any engine, "pull" the Argus whether on bottom end or on the straights. Everyone who has tried one has been really impressed these engines. And they are lasting a long time without any troubles. I currently have 7 gallons on my truggy engine and all I have done is change the front bearing last week, other than that its all origional
There are a lot of good engines out there, Some last a long time, some dont, some tune easy some dont, some have bottom end some dont, some have top and some dont, some get good mileage some dont etc... BUt the Argus really does have everything And with a inexpensive price as well. They really did make 1 engine that has all the bases covered. Besides the Name you are not going to get any benefit from buying a more expensive engine.
They also have no "issues". after 7+ gallon mark and inpsecting quite a few of these there is no abnormal wear on any of the internals. Just the normal rod wear which comes with that much fuel use.
Plus its always fun when the guys with high $$ engines come over and ask " what is that you are running"
Thanks,
Lance
