Serpent does the same with the battery, so maybe not...

If I had to take a stab at speculating the how, well perhaps the near symmetrical chassis and centralized engine mounting negates excessive flex there, though we are still talking of a flex point in relation to gear mesh, so how do you not have a brace at a point where a few mm flex may strip gears?.




Still I'm excited as hell to get one regardless of any of the technical details, if it turns out to be problematic I'll just go 8th scale...
