I'm looking to get more into the sport and I feel like it's time to upgrade with a better radio. I'm ok by spending 400 on something that will make me feel more connected with my cars. I have 4 spektrum receivers and would like to use them along with a lipo hump pack. I heard mixed reviews on futaba and don't know much about airtronics. Your only going to be able to use those receivers with a Spektrum system. And as far as the lipo you have, your going to have to make sure that the voltage and fit is compatible with whatever radio you get.
I have a DX3R and am not a fan of it, I would take a look at the following:

RadioPost - interesting, but I personally know a couple of people that have been having issues with it loosing signal (and there is no failsafe atm).
