Cannon- why invest so much in matching this Gen GP3300s when we are just about to enter another round of Battery Wars? Sanyo now have a 3600 and sure as God made little green apples there will be a new gen of GP cells to compete .
I do however applaud you for investing in the hobby.(locally).
According to the guru I spoke to the overseas matchers "zap the crap" out of their cells.
I've noticed that (in some cases) the higher average discharge voltage obtained is at the expense of runtime. The pack I have in mind hold its voltage simiarly(spelling?) to other packs but drops its bundle at 6.00vdc.
It should be remembered that "average voltage discharged" is a purely mathematical concept- its possible to have a cell/pack with more usable high voltage but that it gives a lower AVD reading because it hangs on in the lower voltage regions of the discharge as well.
Good luck with the matching-put me down for some cells(dont get to greedy)-
Also I can loan you a zapper if you need one.
