apex if you have a 12l3 the quad twelve is the way to go the chasis is of a higher grade and quality then that of the mass produce L4 and as normal associated practice they wont offer a thicker chassis, thats reserved for thier fast guys.
But with the quad 12 you get top a top notch car. pluss besides the car having no need for tape it also eliminates the dampner disks and with the batteries pointing north and south the over width of the car is narrower which makes for a car that changes directions quicker and the ca r is more stable then the 12L series of cars.
Run one once you get one you Hooked.

You wont be replacing chassis often either due to the graphite grade as you will with the L 4
