I e been running on an 1/8 scale outdoor track. 180 ft back stretch. Tabletops 7 ft tall. Yesterday I ran the 1415 motor geared 93/25. Motor temp never got over 105. However I had this guy with a ofna sc truck that was just walking by me in the straights. One big issue I have is the truck nose diving. And on this big track, it can't be a complete front flip. I've tried everything. From playing with throttle before the jump and in the air. To heavier front shock oil and adjusting the springs. Not sure what else to do.
Have you tried some some push contol on your radio, that motor is very notchy, creating some break drag. Adjust your throttle endpoints so your tires while off the ground just start to roll.
