Racers waiting on the stand for marshals is BS all day long..IMO
If it's ok at your track that's fine, I just don't think it's the way to run a race program..IMO
I don't disagree with you, but to answer your question I don't get mad if it takes a while to get my car put back onto its tires if I dumped its on its lid. As long as I can get checked in and not delay the race, the car being on its lid is my fault not theirs.
With that being said, it is my opinion that if another racer is normally out there to marshal before most of the racers in the next race are even out there and checked in he or she is doing just fine and what he or she is doing between that time is not for me to dictate.
Now if someone was constantly the last person out on the track to marshal, thus delaying the check in process or even the race, then we have an issue.
