Pink and Gray are similar in hardness, but are different types of rubber and provide different levels of grip on different surfaces. Purple fronts and Pink rears are where most people start on asphalt, but if you want more rear grip with Double Pink fronts try Orange rears. Set up wise, you can try green side springs and/or blue top spring and/or .22 front springs. More front caster, less camber and/or a bit of front toe might help also.
