Okay, update on my Clocked O.S. 25XZ! Went out to the track today for some more practice time, but this time, I had my buddy pull out the stop watch so that we could get a bonafide number on fuel run time.. Are ya ready for this? I got 15:44 out of a tank of gas! Usable power up until 15:15 then it started to slow down and run on leftovers... 15:44 and I was not being the least bit consevative on the throttle either, I screamed my truggy all 16 laps on the track!
Power comparison was also made between my Clocked O.S. 25xz and my buddies stock O.S. 28.. My clocked O.S. 25 has noticable more bottom end, mid-range, and totally blows the 28's doors off on the top end portion of the powerband.. On the topend it will litterally leave the 28 standing still! Honestly, I just can't imagine that there is a more powerful, yet usable engine for an 1/8 scale truggy than a Clocked O.S. 25xz! BTW, my Clocked O.S. 25xz only has 3/4 of a gallon through it right now! With that being said, its still going to climb up in power and gas milage!
