To build the emulsion style, first put the rubber ring in the cap in place of the bladder(make sure it is in the correct way so it seals off the bleeder hole below the bleeder screw). Tighten the cap. Take out shock cartridge, fill shock, screw in shock cartridge with shock shaft extended then back out about a half turn and push shaft all the way in. Hold shaft all the way in and tighten the cartridge. That should do it. Hopefully I explained it well enough.
