It really pisses me off that they make the radios so you can't use aftermarket receivers. Back in the day you could use all kind of different receivers w other radios. Now they are going super high speed digital systems to where you really need branded servo's too....
Yeah, I know - causes a lot of confusion, looks like any 2.4 should work, but it's def not that way, takes the branded rcvr as you called it, to work almost without exception.
