M.E.K. is VERY not good for you. Read up on the MSDS of it. I use a little bit of degreaser. Least volatile thing that will do the job effectively. But the teabag method also works in a 50/50 water degreaser mix.
I store it in a mason jar and only open the jar for 15 seconds while I stick my tea strainer inside....then put the lid back on. I mean it's paint thinner....so it's common sense not to breathe it and to use it in a well ventilated area ;-)
